Television AD Sales Person Needed - NBC

The Markowitz Group is currently producing a TV simulcast of the Joey Reynolds Radio Show to be broadcast on WNBC-TV's cable affiliate here in NY.
This show will be similar in nature to the show Howard Stern had on WOR a few years back.
Joey Reynolds has a national radio listening audience of over 750,000 daily listeners and this new TV variant is guaranteed to garner a substantial number of viewers here in the tri-state area.
We are looking for advertising sales people with a background in television ad sales. You will do your own lead generation and sell advertising for this program.
This is a wide-open opportunity for the right person with the right ambition and motivation.
NOTE: THIS IS A HOME BASED STRAIGHT COMMISSION ROLE with an aggressive earnings potential.
Responsibilities include:
? Establish a consistent pipeline on a daily basis via lead generation
? Identify clients' needs and cultivate effective sales strategies via phone
? Maintain strategic relationships with advertisers and seek opportunities to up sell
? Contribute leadership through your experience and work ethic
Qualifications:
? 1-3 years experience making outbound calls to generate sales
? Comfortable with prospecting and cold calling
? Proficient at conducting needs analysis
? Experience closing business via phone
? Experience selling against a monthly or quarterly quota
? Solid understanding and track record of television advertising in the NY market.
