Description:
Receptionist/Office Assistant for a select Jewelry manufacturer located in Midtown Manhattan.
Summary: The Receptionist is responsible for the multi-line telephone system and reception area, as well as general administrative duties
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
( Other duties may be assigned)
? Answers incoming telephone calls, Acts as a ?gatekeeper" for all incoming telephone calls.
? Welcomes on-site visitors.
? Maintains fax and other business machines (i.e. printers, copiers, etc.), assists users, sends faxes, and retrieves and distributes incoming faxes.
? Creates and prints fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as necessary.
? Assist accounting dept with data entry and basic financial analyses on Excel.
Education and/or Experience required
Requires a High School diploma or G.E.D. and 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
? Must be self-directed, highly motivated, and organized
? Strong interpersonal skills ? able to build positive relationships and work collaboratively with others
? Must have discretion, confidentiality and operate with high ethics and integrity
Computer Skills:
Experience with multi-line phone system. Proficient and accurate with computer skills, especially word processing (Word), spreadsheets (Excel),
